As you may have heard, a new federal carbon tax will be introduced in Alberta on January 1, 2020. The tax is part of the Canadian government's comprehensive climate action plan to help lower carbon emissions.

We wanted to let you know what to expect on your energy bills starting in January. The charges will apply to your consumption of natural gas at a rate of $1.0499523/GJ.
