Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
1 Z- r  K% Y, w6 ?7 A( C" U" U-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
0 ^, b! p9 H8 I1 g4 n- A-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
' d! S: ?$ I' _9 C5 w2 i- I3 `-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
& S4 L% g( s1 T% }-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
2 _8 O- H6 H# b* g# @- L-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
4 j" L6 ~! v7 E( T-Sales Experience is an asset
. e9 M* Z( x& Y( U' r* C2 z-Fluent in English and Cantonese
: A' S7 Y5 m2 b' }-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
