Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
5 R" X4 v( t0 W, }-Completion of a post-secondary education
( [# g7 J4 w2 z& J% y-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
8 t) r7 \  O9 x. k' W2 `-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
. E7 ~( w) A" L& X-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
+ X% b& O# S+ d% {5 m4 B3 I% ?; O-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
9 d5 }+ u* C+ Q+ s: e% ]4 R! n) f-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
4 t1 ?- {& r3 F& S5 F* W-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
