Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
) a4 f; E9 ?  Y-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
5 N+ g4 }8 o% |7 d0 a$ I7 C-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
" w  S) q+ x7 _9 a) E1 A7 ?" h-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
' Q' H4 P0 N" i3 M3 m" y-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
; X2 s/ z) p5 d% K( L-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
% q6 d8 L% _4 y- O: M4 W1 {6 v8 c-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
$ \* O* a" h7 F4 c- G-Sales Experience is an asset
) f; @: Y9 H* s6 q7 n  c+ ]-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
