-Completion of a post-secondary education
0 H& V# y7 t; B1 J' k-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
5 h: U* g' ?4 V5 I- m" `+ S# ?# Y-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
2 X  h$ L  C' V6 n! y" _& r( y-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
6 d" a* F  b" v, h  R-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
" I! }# T( t5 H8 s1 g+ D2 x4 q-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
: u4 s, _9 l3 E* Y, T7 ?-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
8 v6 R& P, T( O0 p" _-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
* P; A2 e* N, P# H-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
- Y8 f# p4 c# `, a-Sales Experience is an asset
( I1 k3 F/ w1 I1 n-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
