Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
3 t3 I2 _% V/ O4 {" \# G6 w-Completion of a post-secondary education
0 E$ k3 ~" h: a9 m6 B' L) p8 O8 f-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
$ B5 [7 y5 B& r" Q1 _& Y-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
" E; q2 c4 A9 _8 F6 s! O-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
-Sales Experience is an asset
  W' \) ^- t: i7 w2 n-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
