Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
, m/ z9 t4 {( `) j# P* n: J-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
! T5 U. Q3 @- x* L8 Y- P-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
- \5 t9 m6 Q- f* W2 T3 V8 V/ E. g1 H) i-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
* A" n9 d& b- B+ o1 ]; W, Y: G-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
) M% U5 O( g( f7 M5 Z# e-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
- B; s8 w2 f; V2 r) ^5 E7 x! C-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
: L& q6 B6 T* k-Sales Experience is an asset
4 n9 V& p: c! D0 t7 W-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
