Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
7 J% y$ Y1 D0 R# q-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
" p- ]8 O, j6 ^/ F8 C& ?-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
: p0 \6 D3 W% w# a5 M# K8 d, a-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
' G0 n; Z" d2 h# [# x1 e5 w% b9 e-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
( Q# [# {) `3 A# G; W. o$ R-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
' y7 b* b- z9 T, ^-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
& P/ l# V0 [+ x2 Z-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
