Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
8 y$ @/ _" `. \$ M" J/ K-Completion of a post-secondary education/ C! I, T1 y) |. _
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC1 U- l% _$ n2 g' ?
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
. S2 k% H! T9 T$ q-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
1 Y0 Q& ]/ K" F5 o' d1 ^" K-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
( ]/ U1 p0 F: B Z-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- S! @$ Q/ D2 G* T-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy( d4 ?) C! ]' \
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.. ?3 t% r+ U9 E9 b0 m3 _
-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required# e( }; p6 V& w
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment* C) i) q- k2 ?( o) J
-Sales Experience is an asset
