Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
1 u0 W4 T6 r% s8 N7 M3 f-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
4 o" Q3 L8 P4 n% i0 X* n. k( \  ~-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
8 i% a  Z0 p; x/ m0 l+ k1 M) U; S+ F' N-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
( x. ~' [4 b2 |- n$ Q, k-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
' x% a; `8 v% ?-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
) c2 {1 L" Y, k6 k2 [-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
-Sales Experience is an asset
. v  t9 u& W- l: r-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
