Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
7 W  v/ b/ e; ~8 Y. Q8 V" G-Completion of a post-secondary education
/ @; x. y+ G/ m-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
4 T& q& K; e' Y2 k* c) g9 B-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
' N$ J& v* P" M4 \" T5 C6 l-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
7 B/ v, @7 j( Y-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
1 M  p( j2 I0 t1 S  I; E-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
0 h( ^" S+ H, p/ }  b7 a5 E1 V-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
" D* v% f9 o( P! _$ q" S-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
' G8 K4 f: `- @  w7 g-Sales Experience is an asset
+ C8 c  e0 l: Y) K$ Y4 U-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
