Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
1 ~  y! D* m4 C# l" A-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
" n) T  T$ L1 E! n-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
9 j/ e4 [7 {# d8 [-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
# {% N) q# }% u! e; ~% t1 P-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
6 M! j: O1 k: {) w' [, t( ]-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
, ^4 l( k5 E3 y& g9 ]8 f2 y/ b4 _-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
+ e' P+ w0 I! v' q-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
