4 _* u0 I, [8 c4 ]# y& x/ U-Completion of a post-secondary education
% y; i7 W( D) r5 I( Y5 {, }-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
( E& v3 i& y* I, T" F/ p7 b; q-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
( Z; _' X# P7 z$ }- a9 q# D-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
" `9 W. ^! c# f3 x- V, W* @5 k-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
% o% U) I$ v4 e+ g2 B6 o6 b1 {-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
, _8 f( O! [8 h$ R$ ~. h-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
