Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
+ A7 O7 P9 W. x) H-Completion of a post-secondary education
+ k: w7 O" j- h-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
+ V+ h& E. D$ F+ o-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
1 [, {3 c1 l. Y-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
4 k5 _! [; _+ C: W% ^) y-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
1 ]/ H- n/ g* L2 y-Sales Experience is an asset
7 Y; S5 P' B2 L! ?+ W4 `-Fluent in English and Cantonese
2 x4 Q; t$ W* d3 ], I-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
