Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
/ t# `2 C4 x& \! r-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
7 k2 N" q) Q( @6 @2 K2 j6 ~-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
+ V9 f7 \% }8 Z' a- q-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
: ]! K; q) u( W) A" {" `- p: n9 ~-Sales Experience is an asset
1 Y3 S5 W/ r) ~; g-Fluent in English and Cantonese
: |! L2 }1 f6 s# b; D* j-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
