Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
+ Q+ T% o9 U. |6 T-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
" l0 Q' k0 U( K* ^' j-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
" H8 R$ I: ]1 V! o) Y, n+ I4 m9 B# h-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
! ~" L6 g/ i: A5 n-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
) |6 G: n1 \' Q  d8 f! @9 a7 G-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
5 E& R1 p- u" a' i5 Z. X-Sales Experience is an asset
* z" w$ U: c3 v$ v, M! z-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
