Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
9 ], X, H9 Y: _; E( x! Y' D7 i+ T( _-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
' i: S7 ^3 M, d* _4 B-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
$ b* W) h- t- n% W6 {- N-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
* S1 }+ B5 V! y+ [5 v9 y-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
. A" N7 C: ~5 L6 b0 e& {-Sales Experience is an asset
4 Y6 \' n& g8 k' Q- S: j. e-Fluent in English and Cantonese
; u9 P6 W! T1 g5 K7 \-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
