Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
) V! K3 I* e; ~* D5 ?4 C/ t-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
$ s3 `) N2 `5 ~6 G7 H4 @-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
9 `; V9 M, F* P" H) `-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
9 |6 A3 Y1 j2 T# W# @, x: M-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
9 ~0 D9 z; R/ j2 v-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
, P- e8 V2 P" F6 B- k& q5 l! @5 [0 }-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
-Sales Experience is an asset
