Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
) k2 z, c4 m0 K-Completion of a post-secondary education
: @) b1 g0 O" `4 _* f. ]/ i3 b-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
4 ~8 H7 A6 x2 t; l3 p-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
" j) C* u! }( @- g  R-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
7 t3 p0 W; j( R7 F* X# E. b4 f& m( r-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
6 M0 W6 ^) ~& T( y-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
2 O- s6 B6 |0 t  {. t# {-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
3 |, _! L' m  k9 f3 C: q8 B-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
/ P2 \6 B2 E- b4 k8 I$ j9 K- R6 {- \; v-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
# |5 R5 Z3 t4 Q' S-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
