Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
/ h* F7 q+ K: `, I-Completion of a post-secondary education8 s5 M# N' O6 y/ ~/ U6 W. T* z* t
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC! I% `" ^6 a5 t; I# c4 d
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
. q5 @( F" g. i-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
& C7 W' l. T$ h: o# v-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets2 }/ z0 K9 Y8 V* v. g
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
' j/ x3 w( d" g, O i- V-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy1 X8 n: n! G2 k4 w2 K
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach. H" E2 T& R6 f
-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
( d& |& H0 R! i-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
