Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
2 q8 p) }4 F# R) t-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
' k; N# a+ }7 v' e) D4 k-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
; `6 t2 S8 P4 Z-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
; S; E- T# M7 w6 z' l4 s-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
' D9 L$ U$ v1 h7 s* a-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
