Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
$ A( R# ~6 j8 ~# j-Completion of a post-secondary education
9 ^% }3 a4 X. V+ l0 M: O8 Y8 K-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC* [/ S! G1 o7 J/ o, k' M' D
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)( |5 G: s+ p4 E0 F
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
; Z4 ]8 |3 q& G+ c" i$ n5 y5 v-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets' F7 ^: P/ D0 R4 V
-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
# N/ F- P( Q' ]-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
- _ l( _) A& C" q: C-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
( E1 ^% C- Y5 y-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required2 r1 C# E( X( E ^# @8 j
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
