Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
! ~! w1 L9 j0 @" v7 V-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
1 w7 Q, \8 J! ^9 c" @- B-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
9 f2 x- E- C/ P4 L$ ^, q0 l-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
! M* k9 ]; T! H( m# M5 x( p- C" T-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
# y% ?; c- |9 i-Sales Experience is an asset
- U/ O: v8 N( S) t1 r-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
