Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
* @9 |( `7 B9 \1 D( ~0 A-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
: c. U6 I) j, N" B( K. x-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
+ Z$ ?( `; o5 `: r7 t4 E-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
6 q1 f6 h$ A0 X! }+ w5 s$ j" ~-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
8 M, k( E1 m0 W, \6 c-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
- [7 u6 y4 n) }6 I. R-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
& M8 v% {: G$ e" T! Z. [-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
/ v+ X9 B; V4 C! D-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
