$ N0 E. p% M4 h) XThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
+ o0 k, f, o& g  R) R. `6 S-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
2 O& B% S* b$ k0 `$ I-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
9 C' V  s" a2 r. a+ ^-        Building and managing supplier relationships
' t/ Y3 J) Y0 g  n( F2 z6 B. B+ |) ~# F-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
6 g' Q6 K. v1 c5 m! d/ v1 o- Sound research skills
% ]  N# q- o0 l9 D+ i- J- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
. y. f; z  |3 L5 ~+ }. B7 x) d6 G- Strong organization and time management skills
, {! N9 F" L1 A" o- Friendly and outgoing personality
! E5 |9 n0 `* y7 F- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
