This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
. O: Y% q8 T. ^0 u  B-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
- X" b# E( @; \+ G. S0 d0 e  R-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
% Q* K, f8 c* U4 ]8 U. L
Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
3 S6 \( P, g+ ~8 }8 y- B$ k, `- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
