8 O( B4 |: U, Q% _This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
* b8 b& I. i3 `; _% B9 M- x% k-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
9 p0 M( {, q  n6 N$ O# T-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  l$ W6 e/ T$ Y- K& w- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
/ h1 l; ^, c) c& b7 E1 c! X" ~& I3 h- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
