This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

( D! p  d7 \9 b8 IThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
. p7 k) p5 P, t) E1 a-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
- M* G4 r& c7 k: n  @' u-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

3 Y9 k3 u2 T9 @- V6 Y# g' YRequirements:
3 M' x: ^( x; ]- Sound research skills
5 \+ n6 u/ E9 z* O: m$ d- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
' @! v! g- l" ^! y! }- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
% k3 \4 r- P1 g5 c3 U, n  x- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
