CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
; u% o# o# H( _7 d- _•        Publish financial statements in time
7 x0 Q# J% D9 j•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
3 \( t2 t6 P( x- @1 ?+ z•        Ensure timely bank payments
5 n7 R6 O9 G7 D- ^& m, e3 g•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- A% q$ Z# ~+ h1 g% i•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
3 h- t+ [2 Z, N6 O% Z•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
0 A1 C& P2 u. T* c•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
! t/ [7 C0 _6 J8 @( {$ ~0 D•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

8 T6 U" V. |, @8 I+ p. ]•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
6 v! X- h! }; k& a+ G1 k3 u•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
! R. i) h3 y6 C•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ N6 m8 l" k8 v* _; M•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
% I5 _$ S$ Q7 l•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
