MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
- z8 {$ Y3 K' m4 a2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
) V4 n  b3 e  s; e5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
, ?( k1 p3 K: a7 C3 h, p8 K6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
1 k8 Y1 C! P9 N3 Y# y# P, W, E7. Other duties as assigned
. Y/ n* h; G3 pSkills and specifications:
+ v: U1 `4 r- M/ m! ]7 y; v1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
; I# I- N( ]2 {) M# z8 b8 E- I2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
! c9 \5 R! X8 F9 u1 @' E5 c. a7 N4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
