MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
# Y: H+ }# }/ Y& j$ L* x& k. q# ]1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
2 K- N7 g- v6 u. k% [2 L4. Calibration of Equipment
, e9 V# ?9 w7 R: H" m5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
$ I5 v9 O" i8 a5 o7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
! a" O" s6 j" }: ]- R+ I; L2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
  _% B: Y0 p9 f9 v4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
