MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
/ I1 P2 a' G, q3 \. XBrief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
6 v2 Q1 w0 f  }3 r9 @1 A1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
; N  f- L* N- P% }, h9 l4. Calibration of Equipment
3 L& d" c; \4 j5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
2 v) }9 G& d8 W$ H: ~# \. A% _6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
8 h2 Z1 S8 g/ E% q' s9 M3 p* n6 Z1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
4 W' u; V, V8 Y0 Q3 v% V! K& J2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
; I; W# I8 I: }+ H: e% H4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
