MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
( u2 s( T3 f' ?* L2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
2 W/ e6 r2 u/ D% S3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
( \6 j# L7 z& \! T; x3 o4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
( k* R$ [+ K' B+ YSkills and specifications:
* E% h% W! W& r3 {. C- S% }: a1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
5 Z- e/ J7 `( L& `- `% F2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
+ X/ R6 P' `& ^. v1 g* m1 R3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
