MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
( H4 H. w& z/ w* V1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
; h  \2 l5 _. h& W, s: a2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
7 [7 m8 f7 k! R5 o' P2 V3 c! |3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
6 ?, t, h! ?' P9 w$ v2 N5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
# q" b- l# c5 C1 ^" w6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
& r4 t5 B+ u6 R. ~: L5 q& g- ]1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
& ~) G5 }4 B7 ?/ K3 t. |. q5 F4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
