MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
, v3 j* h" w- ]3 T! G5 R. }( k1 |3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
+ L* q& u! t/ e# f% S( m0 F6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
2 b; b% g2 v9 ?Skills and specifications:
. o3 V8 B- B6 h3 d4 Q2 y1 D1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
' ?, o: m7 x7 P/ r9 o- v2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
! I8 Q1 C- \& v2 A. Z0 _% A, l  y3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
# Z2 N1 f. T6 i& M3 V4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
