MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
4 K; U+ B# q4 l) K( {3 dBrief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ I1 x7 F; N; ^8 m1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
7 O8 R) ~- Y! E8 ?8 z6 X6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
  n  j' d3 C! l/ e# c& V+ [; H) E2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
; K# G) l& |7 {4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
