MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.

) p# m1 C' J( e$ d" S  Q- m" S1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
7 |9 ~. U1 V, A- `- S. x  g2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
1 c$ N9 l4 \% a9 U/ a+ j- W3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
% e6 n7 B2 B& [2 C% Z+ w( z5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
; W& k8 Y+ U; L" N& C8 `6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
# F1 c9 _7 @) e! y) f2 `2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
+ v3 F& @/ y0 E" Z, u! X; ]- t/ I4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
