MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
( }. V7 _  ?3 [0 \1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
$ P  C  y4 D0 q/ z7 @1 J) F) J3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
2 ?0 H2 J; u# E+ @( k' Z5 Q2 h6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
. R7 d0 q1 N% p& ^' K7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
4 U& s; Y1 p! D% U3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
