MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
1 O* B& e1 s  T. `Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
1 _! z2 J+ {  e' M0 U: N1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
/ l1 O; g+ l; `2 D, p* X2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
/ i$ g7 r' \+ [5 }6 n  W) b% N3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
$ j- c3 d+ n% U4. Calibration of Equipment
( l6 q) M( `6 }9 ]" a* G; q0 a5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
6 }& s5 m9 x9 @) Q' u0 t* c7. Other duties as assigned
5 m4 f( K6 n* j8 P( e" gSkills and specifications:
. K) C  E& d1 r0 E, \3 I1 e1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
