MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
0 F' R3 m. M' f$ W: T5 d- I1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
# t4 Z3 U& }- B$ C1 T2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
' ]/ i' n7 h" f! U( K# S4. Calibration of Equipment
! q0 K0 M+ ?! l, L) ^5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
; x( \9 V/ W% n: F/ n7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
2 g1 b7 C0 b! e; ^; N8 u1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
1 Z  s) T2 Y. s) A7 U( L* R3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
1 T4 {$ x- s$ B1 f4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
2 }( m  t" W  n+ w8 d4 _5. May need to work different hours
