CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

7 K& j- I$ S7 U6 Z; [6 Y· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

! k9 G: Q( G+ S9 r- H, {8 `5 `2 Z. k· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
/ U; ^/ b3 g8 N) n9 K$ B
3 @% W- o# N, g; {+ M8 j8 ?· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

& z8 T3 q- t* c% X( _6 S· Operate manual and automatic shifts

$ e/ @0 E8 O, K) }, e· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

% H6 K% @, |9 E7 T- d8 p2 C& `· Valid Class 1 license
9 z* d* X0 k: L7 `, l$ e
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
3 C: T7 I/ m* e
· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
