CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

  y. ^0 X8 `9 l6 p· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

- N, N0 l9 E9 ~" P) ^/ n. {* [· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

% m1 Z# i+ n5 ^* G· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

9 b7 H) d/ A, F$ {4 e7 ^· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Secure loads safely

Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
% J4 ]- i- H: D  e
· Valid Class 1 license

; K0 D, Y6 o  u4 s0 A% @5 j· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

  R0 v, w: x9 `/ I" x& ]+ }· Load securement certification

# c$ f* Q- H2 g5 e+ A1 K# U( m4 W· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
