CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

: y8 u. g# a- x: Y· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

6 v  R, G& S1 ?6 D# J& N1 B· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

) _- Z6 k$ W; A) T+ V' g0 w· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
2 A9 V- z+ Y( D) P( X4 p, {  nQualifications and Training Requirements

8 ^, m  {# g+ s6 L) l· Minimum 3 years experience

& }/ i) C6 b& Z% q$ \· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

* G' E4 M$ p/ q6 l· Load securement certification

  [8 T/ b" o, a" x· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
