CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

/ s3 d4 ?# i' p# W6 G· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

! l% t1 n& |* g6 B7 h8 v· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

( `9 n$ |. b) A1 L8 |. R· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
! f1 V3 v& Y* r( b. z+ m- ]9 ]
3 P# n+ X. ~* g6 ]4 F3 I· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

/ K8 ?$ f3 n& }% N9 W% Y· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
- z* R, i/ P- P' U& }
7 C& [, v% {/ ]: \" o! k/ _· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely
! L( J6 f) w$ h2 f0 }
9 D" o5 C. X0 u% R0 C· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
" T; A2 r  W1 V) [7 IQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

  f9 h3 w6 U0 X' S0 z; }% M· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
0 q- u3 f) ]! Q( n  E3 z8 Z; h: s
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
. Y- J3 v& a( ^. _& O
· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

0 ?/ U/ T. t1 Z: \# l1 N' @· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

7 C! G! X" m( U( r· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
