weekend hours.
: A5 ]6 a! q& E+ wYou will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer" o4 Q- R4 A2 P( _6 H: G
lab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the
% w1 [, D3 U9 m3 x, ccentre.
3 D c! J8 T6 YThese responsibilities include:
C: K, C6 e) j-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.+ p& ]$ T+ W" K1 I) a& V
-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.
" w. f' s8 z) G1 n% x-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and
0 _4 ?; E; Y' n2 E R0 _1 c" Zrenewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to 9 R2 [% D! y2 d- Q x5 k
facilities’ maintenance, etc.
. [/ r" c) p) s-Conduct other office related tasks, such as Internet documents search, backup of electronic
' d) Z4 O7 p$ H4 \$ i( dclients’ files etc.

: _- X8 } t- c/ I4 r- OEducation:
5 T( `7 z0 E- x6 ]/ z-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences,
6 ^7 k! i3 `5 Y2 ^# L! T: zeducation, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination
: E% D9 V! i. b4 a, jof education, training and /or experience.
/ {3 {; [: ?; K- wKnowledge/Technical competencies:# E! ?4 e- A5 a+ @. `
-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.
1 E9 H6 V' M q, Z* q! a) ?-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word

-Experience in using MS Access.
