Hourly rate: $20 ($40,101 per annum prorated at 12 hours per week)

4 {$ \" t4 v& B$ c: \( p. pweekend hours.
! v F' s- ~- YYou will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer' x- l: X+ v4 \* s2 {
lab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the
! d" |/ L; \/ d& e; z( C' Ncentre.% H2 ^% T4 V ~: O+ f/ h
These responsibilities include:+ t5 ?9 p8 _/ D/ Z2 S- M
-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.
9 K3 |; P$ j' C$ |, i/ i+ [3 K; @-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.' G. g: K' [* B. p
-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and! ]% H* ^, _- o5 L. K
renewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to ; n0 |2 M* E& X+ M/ W/ p( f) L
facilities’ maintenance, etc.

education, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination 9 o+ v$ o0 h9 N, p5 m8 B
of education, training and /or experience.
" P: ]! A" _% K6 j/ SKnowledge/Technical competencies:
& r- C7 K) X2 T9 Q, n' N-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.
! g1 j+ @: i1 M" s1 i-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word

-Experience using and updating an information database. $ r4 j2 n7 C @" _# h* A% q
