The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.9 \' c+ g$ g. y7 S

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
. b* J! \* ?# p1 Q% f3 {. WInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
2 o/ d4 z" }' O7 b9 Y3 aLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
( @/ n1 X, l" q, A- cMust be able to work safely at all times& U8 {. j$ t9 T7 t e" z _4 a
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
$ N8 ?, m% v. D3 w) ^) {$ GPerforms routine housekeeping.. ]7 T& @# R7 y' Z3 a6 R
Observes and reports any safety issues

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
