The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials! C8 n! h: g, J+ n9 _3 a; P
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
2 [* Z6 `# s |6 X; [; @Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
1 x( Q7 F6 i' L9 h. sMust be able to work safely at all times. ?( E2 ]+ `9 h8 B# q) s
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
0 n/ T5 X9 [: h" u5 r" `; FPerforms routine housekeeping.
9 i7 u% x% A9 _Observes and reports any safety issues

High school diploma (Or GED)

$ P# ]1 S. j/ X" X8 ^# fAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization9 m: c: J+ W0 d7 c3 d
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
