, X/ Y- J" v) W1 g4 r3 Jetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for& R4 A8 D; Q- d, r" J h
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and1 P$ Y: f0 K" T
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during' j. n4 S; R! k
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
$ w1 ~7 X9 F6 C6 passisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
2 `* K4 q" D" t( ^venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
+ W/ i$ H, {$ }& g: O! Joutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
0 T/ \" c5 V, \) D: q) Lexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night1 } ?( S. p# L0 L K
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
# x( r2 B/ z1 \3 o7 [functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
5 i* h% `& R! J: E) ?* ~such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint, D" l" J& B# o, l
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc. , ]6 ]! \% A: t5 X* k0 M6 @
* T- W+ R- b& a, N* ?4 b; \; |Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
) W$ F& v- R; m% ~+ w$ NCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate' J e, X( l1 J- _0 y" C
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
+ a3 x6 @+ [) idemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
" a+ W4 o- ^, j" L/ T3 ka variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those% y7 ^5 l" ~4 `( a. f1 V; z1 K6 k
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management' ]6 B% O. [: c: v+ z; B; t
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,) @$ x4 a; [+ k8 G
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,7 o' Q- d r4 ^1 w4 k2 W
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
