Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat

Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30$ E V& |! Y, A0 U

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
! i: @- c$ w/ d" y: jCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
, a1 Y' l! z4 C+ jvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,7 e7 K9 e7 ?) F2 T+ S# V
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for% m4 @: F. w1 \, c
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and2 b% r% E! \4 [- j1 R& y
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
$ c0 \' ~) Y6 r0 z4 x0 u6 ntheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,$ b( R4 s8 A8 W
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking( g1 I9 y( k/ ?/ }7 m
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city7 [, n4 N7 X8 g4 m8 m1 O0 @$ \
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city

excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
. y' o! P4 ]5 |0 M+ jCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
: r% X0 |$ o1 E1 } O" Sfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
2 O3 }4 o" G) z" m- ?demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
) _: O$ J- r4 E' N: Ka variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
1 { f9 D; i$ f& c- _of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
+ A8 e) G1 Y; z1 E6 f& V, U( Fskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,$ Q7 z2 i4 a- e' o/ c
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,3 K, R0 P1 S4 E" `# T0 U/ e
