2 |" Z0 Z! h! aSalary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

! G9 R6 @1 t1 ?2 U' ^6 h( fHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
4 D& T/ K) Z# W; Q  g6 v/ hthe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
9 |$ B% e) B( i2 f3 L2 X! Xschool year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
5 u+ v5 T& l3 }. M! G) ovenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
3 G4 Q! ~6 L% C% S  A, Ketc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
4 O& X. U$ f( E) ?- V: _6 |their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
- x" i& \9 M" e" J4 M! O: vtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
- N. e& {  k, L/ \$ e6 eoutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
3 C  o. k3 G; G2 X5 Bexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
  r8 d0 @. {; O4 o  Y" ipresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

, n3 B% L4 |' e! x- RQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
0 Y" B9 p1 S4 ?Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
9 A7 \' r) a1 B& E5 b+ ]" Ndemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
( U. n# {  X2 K0 ^) ~' ~a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
; _; p2 `+ M# T0 L. S, [$ @1 x+ g) Bof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
0 E/ {, }4 A  A1 i4 Vexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
