p.m., Monday through Friday

17.5 hours a week.  $8.96 an hour.  Hours from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the  
Operations Manager and Senior Operations Manager-Food Services.

5 B) M, Y& C1 d: V" Z; K! Q" }DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
' P5 f# v" L, K! R% V0 \1) Serve as cashier when required.

& p7 I3 [; a1 `7 Q2 P4 c2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

0 _( W$ C7 u+ y6 ~3 @3) Food preparation and cooking as required.

% `6 w! U6 F9 Z4) To follow stipulate of the Edmonton Board of Health.

5) Monitor product levels, order, receive and store food deliveries.
" l4 \9 r" Q6 L# n. K0 V
8 D" |, T- r$ [" y+ S$ _6) Perform monthly food inventory.

& Z3 ]4 x( C: Z1 q5 E7) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Power Plant/RATT operating hours.

To perform other related duties as directed by the Manager.

* V$ U& q5 x) k- X$ ^" MQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year experience as a short order cook, thorough  
8 f1 `  \* J& m/ B) `knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
: g! I+ g, H4 e( t* P0 `' }
2) Previous experience with food inventories.

3) Cashier experience.
4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

/ C5 n5 u$ V) W7 k+ R5) Very good public and staff relations.

1 y  ]; i6 g7 l- k  c3 F6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
+ b& G* e3 G$ [. c2 z9 G" Z
+ l) l9 {4 b9 u( J( IFebruary 14/97/Union Position

* q6 n' z/ o. P& w7 h& k7 [Wage: $8.96/hour (under negotiation) plus 50% discount on food  
purchased at SU outlets to be eaten on shift break
