: `: O% i) A3 K" m8 h2 B# pJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

& {4 h6 O4 f0 z- UDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
# ]5 z7 m8 r; S% p
. d" @& O2 a5 m' v3 G2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
( M: G; ~% ]+ k( x' p4 z5 n
- W6 j( P& l( T* u. d, `" a3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

3 w( W2 @  g* v5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
. F6 D" [+ L0 hManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

) a% B( m0 |& f& C6 @' n2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
. X& t' h" u) v- qcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
% k' v+ {$ }, a) w% q4 Q. _
4) Must be physically capable.

) r$ H/ {# P: Z" ^) [# n8 t5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
