JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
% y2 i( Y$ A8 P4 r0 H! {(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
5 t5 ~/ S: ~6 H4 \8 \8 `6 P( \# Mand are University affiliated.

/ q- c3 v! t0 E4 n( j2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

  j4 z# z/ o) O' C, ^3 f9 i7 @4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
9 d2 `! r' R# Y2 Q1 `consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
  ?5 _$ K5 T5 U. X+ z
( q, {  {0 ~9 R$ S  m' B5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

/ o. N8 i  R" Q3 ?6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

$ v& m) g" k* {. k2 `* _8 \+ L3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

7 j' L4 L( Y! Y. C; H# P- ?4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
