followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
2 P1 y- ~: U, ~# U7 u$ @+ I: TAssociation (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding

Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

( S# N4 ^7 L( v5 `+ S$ m# Hperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a

songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
