The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
- f0 W& J1 t: f+ W: ^Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
* Z6 s( W# X( g2 J. rAchievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
, j& t  P8 j6 D/ z* V& U, U1 ICouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a

! U+ x5 h* {7 Q1 [( ^8 C/ f( l/ bsongs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
