Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
. J% t" \9 D+ H9 N$ P! w7 D [work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
: C9 I" p4 }7 |6 R+ |8 j9 e& Yprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
. T8 f! H7 a# X9 W! t5 _Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
: F: q# Q+ R2 q8 i: uartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
4 H, l+ v Y3 J' W' J8 oEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for$ |9 G/ I+ p- A% T& R$ a
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
0 G7 c k) ^* irecyclables.
" l3 q1 l9 I% p8 z& W, h$ KFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
4 |; D* l) L3 e5 e% e1 qpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
6 p# Y8 x+ y) d' [" b& dHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
: Z' }- w9 X5 c# n8 \them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
5 m# x: ^6 m4 U/ a+ G `hours are part of this crew’s duties.
* [8 Z3 `) V0 T7 a" aInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
" O" ^& t% [" i2 s/ R# J, Tfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
8 m7 v. a& L& C! m( r+ J/ o- mprograms to visitors to the festival.
, j1 q! S$ i% Y, R# nKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
$ R: Q" U% N& ]* l6 g$ _0 Ceveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
$ y5 D) {9 C; M* O: ?7 H% h- ]Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
) C* O, s1 E* M2 h- ^events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
) Y6 i/ J# t* D6 ~* ifestival.$ X# N# i9 n$ \4 i6 b
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
2 N' E K0 K) n: Y W! i) F) voperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you# L* q4 x. Y3 M, R
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.& A/ L1 |& j/ g. @4 w. _' q
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training3 n W+ D t; ^! I2 d2 H7 R
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
* ]' P/ y- ^/ J# aTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be' R; s7 O" o. c* E6 E
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
* j3 m/ D& w$ D s9 q% O+ f, b. Qairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
- a2 g7 e0 S2 q' J, {/ Estaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
