Shift:                         8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (9 to 10 hours/shift) Monday to Friday (5 days a week)

Training:    UPS provides a 5 day Service Provider Training Course to orientate new employees. Safety training includes defensive driving, HABITS (safe work methods), WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), and TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods). Service Provider training includes delivery and pick-up methods, operation of the hand-held computer (DIAD), and dispatch procedures.

Salary:          $15.00/hour to start for a 90 working day probationary period

# p& w, E; I( u& s                        $17.00/hour after 1 year of service from date of hire

                        $22.44/hour after 2 ½ years of service from date of hire (current top rate* – Feb 08)

Requirements:

0 Y# L- D  |7 n6 }. i·     Physically fit and able to repetitively lift up to 70 lbs unassisted

·     Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision

·     Between the ages of 21 and 65

·     Able to drive standard transmission

1 k( M; G$ Q" r$ T·     Clean driving record with no tickets within the past year from date of application
