JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
4 t" c8 ?0 Y0 X3 j) lSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
, E6 }" F. {7 k- ]& rSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects # _; H- `, j1 k5 p, v- E
of Course Pack production.: q' C/ h _; _* `

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:: C, q8 ]( ? l* y& D* f
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning [' |' {2 c' i5 ]
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.% Q* g4 Y, R; q
1 j5 D! U x( X" N: q1 \; @2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including ( m7 }8 E: b$ A- \0 ^- q
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
8 d1 E4 U- j! }1 @1 V! d2 d$ s% S9 E& X, g
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of 0 S+ r3 ]% U2 Q
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and 3 w; m! `1 y7 t4 F
keeping appropriate and accurate records.8 z6 ^& R% O7 x- F" R9 Y
, v0 F& x# k+ `* X4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
2 e* ]9 L9 |- ~4 ?failures to the Operations Manager.. k4 c# s4 Q) x, F1 E% H* e
4 @# g: o/ k/ Z! n d4 H; O5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 4 n# T+ d2 T7 V, O) x8 Z
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.% [- ^9 q2 a% \$ s4 k

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication + ^3 K; J% ^) B- x" L3 l x- ~
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.7 B5 L- P( h3 y" R# Z/ L
