SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
$ f9 G* I5 h* T# W% z: KSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
$ O1 Q2 m4 T: x1 \! Tof Course Pack production.

7 b; H5 }2 J. f2 O; S9 BDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 G2 f; R* M6 j+ D1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
! u% L5 q- O; _# S- X* m: Nof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
! H, w$ h1 {7 q0 L
& w, l* ~6 C/ i: e, V; ~; W" M2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 9 Y n7 u, a/ `. L3 b6 q
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.% J J4 l$ Q6 U- f& `6 C
# V" R( H8 t; ]6 b+ f8 i3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
9 b7 p; J7 {! { g" X1 r! q6 V( ^course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
" }5 Y* J, K9 c# h7 M& V2 ?keeping appropriate and accurate records.# F. ?8 [+ b4 Y7 u! C# ~) r, v2 @ J) p
$ C5 [- H1 ], p' K4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 4 h! y6 H3 F1 }' P X& H. p6 r
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
3 V. V$ j/ `6 [% U2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication * N. q6 g1 q" p: P- v3 V% h
skills.+ I$ I8 s$ ^1 Y% Q \; f+ n
! i. d4 i0 m/ H7 l3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful./ U: a8 Z7 }( m0 R/ }. w- Q3 F

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary. R- n; a4 k( T! X5 b+ U( C' D
