SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
4 B1 e* m% ~. }# k+ P+ M5 W* ^* USupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
" F& z3 c% _4 [# e/ Z: w7 hof Course Pack production.
" J$ ~' J! V0 C% T# n; U' E
* a* ]: N- R* ~7 t! t& ?4 ]! hDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
' M$ O, R7 R. g5 L$ |- ]0 s% Y5 [1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
& ]& ~$ M; d) R+ ~of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
4 v) n$ o2 z- O/ X* s. o, k# w) b' n$ g2 O, M
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including / U4 c0 D0 s% ^7 C+ W8 S0 b- I
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting., Q9 A' h4 f# m: r" S
/ }6 `7 C: a, u& U4 R' k) s8 E3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of % U6 b! v' R& C3 ]' w
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
6 u7 X8 t8 x7 G" V5 {" Vkeeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment - P$ I* y4 n& c; X7 E/ ?( Z
failures to the Operations Manager.

1 b5 B8 g/ J8 S6 O2 R+ t1 p5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 3 E5 B I$ ~5 i+ K+ S( J
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
; m% h5 L! v' V H2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication # n! n5 O0 Y7 d* q
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
