SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 6 q( Y/ B" D p7 [ C; j4 K
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
; J/ G3 H$ [5 v3 v' |of Course Pack production.
; p+ J# N% @( K0 D! b" j
( x. E* E8 x) Y" XDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; ~, A! v" R) L8 t) A1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning # m6 o% k/ ^4 |
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.+ T7 n& D7 { t% M( f
' x( n1 u: H, |0 N) r2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 0 |* U7 z7 Y8 N `- E. Y
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
; B- O2 y: C+ O- ^- J0 J. e3 N7 Q' w. A3 `, T: Z) r
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
8 Z+ y) ]: |) C1 |9 Vcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
$ h' J8 M3 Q* o2 |) o2 V6 Mfailures to the Operations Manager.# Q! z. p% n2 w2 J1 B
) Q1 N; p" t" t% g$ M W1 V5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
. K I$ I/ Y5 Y) H# N6 vand adhere to regulations as appropriate.

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.% Y [; s" a+ r- y9 {" h
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.: q+ r0 {" p2 c7 c5 M

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.- u& P, l+ u- ?1 y6 `) q( [% j/ M

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
