% L4 X, ?- ]6 R) @SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
, B9 A9 K# C" q6 c& vSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
9 K+ f& |2 `. _# k) vof Course Pack production.
. {# E$ Z( n/ u$ a _/ e/ D
' T; L3 K. r) n; E5 w* L# zDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:2 }# M& K6 o' R& z8 G4 b/ H
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
0 \2 Q" y/ |; u% t# ?' Eof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
" c6 u8 N; c' H4 g4 p. V; s9 }, P! p1 V7 O. \7 o: x D1 d
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
- C A" D9 [* g" @3 b3 hprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
9 w z5 j3 _/ O1 lcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
& v" }* s* U! b9 m3 Kkeeping appropriate and accurate records.

/ \! ]$ t/ W& `# Q. F4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment - H+ V$ V8 X. y9 Y' V
failures to the Operations Manager.

' ], M, h- n% f+ W; E, H5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, " s1 \! I0 r' S1 W/ L8 c/ `
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

7) To perform other job related duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: e1 z3 ^# J+ L% l- E
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.% {8 N5 `" T0 `* x
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
1 E, ^( V7 f5 x- Q, [skills.

1 g$ { c8 t% s3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.. t$ G3 C4 k" B' e

5) Ability to work in high stress environment., u& n2 ]5 d" s" ]4 f: P
) b Z# M3 [- Z9 h& H6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
