Your main responsibility will be to operate a cube van, maintain, repair and clean residential recycling depots in the City of Grande Prairie.

The duties include:
0 Z: e7 m3 w6 ~* K" Z8 foperate cube van                                /maintain, repair and clean recycling depots
+ o5 f' l9 h& X: ^litter pick-up                                      /snow removal
assist customers with their recycling and directing them to the proper bin location for disposal
be available to work weekends           /assist in other areas of Eco Centre operations as required

1 ]0 p4 q8 j7 X5 s- nSkills and abilities required for this position include:
& J/ D0 {0 j8 J: b8 X8 qgood physical condition                   /have a valid Alberta class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract
" X* n7 V$ j# S' x, _( }7 Uknowledge of recycling and disposal options in Grande Prairie /certifications or the ability to attain, WHMIS and First Aid
ability to work effectively as part of a team     /have excellent customer service skills, enjoy interacting with customers; front-line customer contact is essential to the operation
a keen interest to contribute to a safe work environment

The current rate of pay is in accordance with the current C.U.P.E. collective agreement.
