Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
2 q( c& M& O  s4 [enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
3 p# b3 j/ s& m7 Iand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

! r; A2 a; p' w+ ]8 GThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
& m! }  S& Y: m(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
+ C0 u* B/ Y5 Y: y4 e(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
