a) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。
b) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）
c) 托福成绩：笔试550分或以上，机试213分或以上
d) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣

  u( R4 b8 ~& j: n+ z5 {# \" |6 Y, YPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
% p) M1 e3 [5 F* M* h* @and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
7 Z5 T* [3 T( NPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

* y# e- G, g3 E& U4 R& vThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
4 ?7 B3 G6 Z5 e: `% l(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
/ x5 J, d3 M+ P(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
4 V3 S! L* l" E, w- S' R(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
