JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

/ X3 v, d: T2 o* T& S7 R DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; Z8 R1 h& @5 T- j
. m1 i  Q% m8 D' {4 t) `1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

/ U, i0 ^- T$ x! \6 G8 p/ q3 N+ K3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.



+ m- ~0 z" @( m' ?QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

1 y$ c8 `. X$ E6 F! l. Q  c& d% S2) Cashier experience.
" k% ]: {8 b/ Q, t$ H
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

! \4 A4 {" ~. d  i3 q7 ^8 y4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
