Shifts:            8:00am to11:00am - Wednesday and Friday

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

) \* e8 N3 J, @6 @) H2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
) `7 w/ M; L( s( P8 L0 S
4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

' V2 c/ h7 K- X% ]- C2 N6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

9 {' b: L- W+ W# K6 G/ |& NQUALIFICATIONS:

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
2 Q8 Z" L; s" x
2) Cashier experience.
' B! \6 z0 c  H  L6 n0 J
( _: j6 N) A+ F  k3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

/ h* B* y& u+ x4 B$ I  T5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
