• responsible for recruitment, selection, training and performance appraisal and termination of staff

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities

• identify community and user needs and trends

• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups: Y2 t x0 x% A4 j0 m) \5 |* ^, z
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

) S8 K0 v. |5 E+ x- University degree in a related field; * O( Y! ^- |; o1 C$ E+ H
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
; p/ P+ J& a. e7 k( a- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; 0 j2 M; s% ?3 O' w( A5 q# ]' q7 d
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 7 H& ^+ y1 b) N$ P3 U% o- h
& Z7 y5 }- `' Y$ N; rSalary
