烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter
2 R3 {( c6 y& N• 1 cup sugar # B! c* `! [0 I; m; G# }
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)' V6 _1 M& n4 H9 S
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
8 Z" Q# ]( Z* `3 _$ \• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
9 m4 w0 V8 E2 Z" c1 Q; e E• 4 eggs, well beaten+ z% m* I- m+ w4 I" @& w

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. " h- d* s* @$ m( q2 ]/ d
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
/ Z; t+ W: z, w( aBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.7 g1 F' J8 k; ^1 C6 M! W0 G

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
