烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter

" p# A) p6 H2 z$ c• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)6 M% z6 ?2 k) k+ j4 i
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)- O. P5 M, H4 u1 ]
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 t5 ^' I# S7 X; g0 e4 R) \& r0 f# q• 4 eggs, well beaten

PREPARATION:
3 `8 s2 j9 Y1 _+ ]$ C3 sBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered., I5 G: L2 O" Y8 g- x* w! d! _% z
