烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)! G- ^& c9 B$ A$ m- t' G4 [
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)# H2 M3 M7 O# n6 S) q
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:& e1 Z+ |$ x+ q7 ?( N' o) Y
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. / ?: y+ f% U1 F9 d/ D
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. : f {( a# E( G: D# s1 e
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

9 W; G! {& m! M& A) d这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。- W1 x& E7 `% T! c Z/ D
beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
