ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
/ E9 M6 ]+ b2 G0 n9 Vrecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
; k# |) W/ g' F9 a  v' Tfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
9 L; u4 X+ e& xcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
$ V' L* b4 e0 lover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
) `% ]3 \  n2 Maccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external

# P5 s8 k5 N' Ssalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
