ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
7 L" c+ r2 j! hrecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
* n' t6 c# G3 ytechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
5 t4 |5 Q- f; l8 X( H6 k! cto apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
: b% G* K7 k# b2 R/ afrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
/ C0 _1 U. l7 K1 ?) zover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
1 x9 W. K' H: R3 cthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
