strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will" S4 r; v) o! s& T0 `' M: q) b
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a( s3 Z' }. n3 s2 D( C
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
: b% G* K7 k# b2 R/ afrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is& E2 _& s4 g6 [
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA9 c: }9 d" m4 ]/ T+ i4 y& n; X/ A
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
/ C0 _1 U. l7 K1 ?) zover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification; {; P/ ?- n% s; E2 M/ @
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
1 x9 W. K' H: R3 cthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping, L% e/ [/ z: l
accurate and complete research records.

salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on) U! E: |7 q4 C7 c0 D' R1 q) g
