technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with

6 A( ?; G& Y# V* E$ s9 T& vQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
$ S, n7 L& P8 P/ n0 f" M' [obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a$ T% n) {4 B+ J6 T3 r
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
: k7 x9 z' Z( r) W+ w& [from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
% x$ J' E# o! t# ^# krequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
3 K7 m0 ~% h# K+ Z5 u+ ]4 P8 {3 M- wcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein! Q: d* r" F# ]0 R1 n2 s! I4 a5 L
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification- d& m! o: H4 m6 C( \! Y
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
6 U/ |( i9 J- g/ {3 }6 k# athe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
