ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
% L4 i0 Q8 l4 Qtechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
+ ^1 ?4 n. @6 J* Dstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
1 O  K3 |9 n, D4 Z' g3 [  ]obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
: C( _: `3 v9 }9 p- L: Vrequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
+ S  H: e8 a2 N) A; x4 pover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
, b2 j3 }0 c8 Q  S# k' ~is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
$ n2 g+ W: [+ k& v& U( k1 F1 caccurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
