Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individuals to fill the following two positions:0 P. z" q2 ^# x4 \" h

Position Title: Outreach Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)& V/ }4 O' Q$ I* n* J

Job Description
0 \/ g% g2 ^4 `+ g$ V) I. Y- promote ISP and other programs and services to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
# I% _& e c: V7 j$ D( y" c- contact with various media: i.e. newspaper, radio, website and newsletter etc.- ?9 `1 M+ U# K: b$ {4 R
- update and develop brochures, pamphlets, information packages and newsletter etc.
- t5 R7 h! `$ `5 n3 i8 K' l+ ^- promote, organize and coordinate activities for Newcomers Club as well as recruit and maintain new members for the Club.
: H" t' d O; Q" x2 H E- ISP report writing, data collection, evaluations conduct and budget management.
- W. h) U0 a& {; z7 T8 W- assist with volunteer recruitment and other business and services as needed and assigned.

1 G, Q+ J+ G' {( w. OQualifications:
- W' e/ M! z; Y+ _: r- post-secondary degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline
3 E" i0 V+ M/ w8 r- relevant experience with community work
2 I/ T! n8 u- g: n- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

Position Title: Receptionist/Immigration Services Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)

Job Description
4 N; o4 i( @0 L) A6 V- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
" {" R2 N1 D, O4 s- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker, M9 [$ ^5 [) Q& z' U% |
- report to the program manager and provide clerical support to all members of the ISP team
# K- z8 L6 Z& D5 v3 m( _" s# R4 Z# u

6 A* F9 v, \2 t& C+ r0 R- post secondary diploma + S' C* |% [6 u1 ? [5 f$ V" f
- customer service and office clerical experiences
