Dead car? Block heater and Synthetic Oil

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
+ g1 P  h: L0 C. \! U  S! hbasically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant/radiator, and keep the engine block warm.
* v5 k/ u; b! H% q+ D- nEither way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.
