EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

" \4 ]6 h8 g3 s ]3 N: VThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for, F7 O& O: B+ n( L: W
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

* r5 S ]% h$ M; L( vTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
* o2 {0 M7 F! m& y" d( i; Vof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different. ~0 R8 {; t: C! ^: P
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.2 S/ l( Q0 k' L4 s4 n. k4 p8 b
