EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

) i; x# H7 _, T8 P; x" `. T4 FThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
9 m9 a) U- r( e$ ^6 Kbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials$ h3 v+ Q: z+ }1 v( w. ~ r a. E4 S
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
9 c+ T; P$ ~+ M; Mcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.+ T0 C `+ [# Z9 a' s- K$ D7 y2 g3 S

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
