EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。7 E/ r+ |# Z3 ?, s0 C

! M- b( y# Q3 V, d' eThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
4 V( A: V0 g7 {9 n, Ybecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

& C+ E' ~: J B( ~; UTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials2 K* q' c) Y( T
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different5 ?. w+ E% |. ^' Z2 Y, R1 E% L
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.) P) w- g3 i+ _& G
