Job Description
5 a8 O6 S1 z/ J- c- B9 ~- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
4 C. p: }5 [. F' G- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker$ u. h% m4 H6 ^
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team8 v" t N$ d( o7 H4 S1 W

Qualifications:
* L: T2 y" R3 @5 m w- post secondary diploma # e5 o0 b8 L% N" b- H* w6 T( @
- customer service and office clerical experiences
4 q* Q) q) @# K& X! ~% a; z5 o; u- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

Job Description
" x& |% R* {5 b5 Z- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
! i2 [4 _% C8 y* m1 {# ^5 [- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services4 w- G- K+ U# t* U) g
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services9 h, \: g W, P* z. @5 V K o
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
% M6 b1 r4 j" v: f. |4 h) v) U- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
* j5 q7 _0 T# ^# e- A3 J+ R- update ASSIST website5 |! @; l, v" Q- C
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
4 O+ V, V7 X5 P& N' e+ ?2 [- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services1 j$ C2 q$ r7 J0 ^1 R* p9 i
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
! w* F5 {( q2 e" x; D% n& D% @- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
- A# D8 G- _$ [8 [; r& w: X$ A1 \- hold regular meetings with ISP team
$ {: `/ a- O! k' M- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
) d3 |) Q: M" p5 n4 {- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
) b/ T% A$ M% s" N( n- good oral and written Chinese and English skills; M6 I, i8 Z3 [" @& h( A% B
- experience in community work and immigrant services }) O/ p# X/ \3 c" e- F( V
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset2 t/ W. w6 a- L1 S, u
