Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individual to fill the following two positions:

R& K/ S3 ?* B/ p. Q3 L- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.

- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team- P; s# F: p7 J2 m, V7 S4 u

Qualifications:" I8 |. K+ L) \& J2 Z. ~
- post secondary diploma
0 i. q1 R& n, }# F% l" m3 n- customer service and office clerical experiences" c; o; d7 Z% D& @- V' e
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
/ ?* Z# `! G7 E9 I o/ W- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
( y, R& F7 I3 N0 x: a/ d; F1 `- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
9 S' V7 k6 n+ b7 f8 ?) W- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies" B) [1 i& L& Y6 h
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members1 }8 B9 }- v( J
- update ASSIST website
_/ {4 j+ q% N! X7 W8 h( I% C/ j- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
7 n3 @: t4 @; B. b- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services I- X/ Y$ f: `, U, E7 v
- assist in writing proposal for ISP, _$ v8 v4 {& U
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
1 A& X# }& T( U% M, W# C- hold regular meetings with ISP team
. t- B7 d5 X1 Q0 ~1 Q) x; B6 ]- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required); {5 E5 o4 \% L: u

Qualifications
T+ Y0 E; W' ]2 k% V0 G% J- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
, N( X' h0 ^9 C+ s) T- good oral and written Chinese and English skills$ P3 | C3 Y* t7 e2 o
- experience in community work and immigrant services
' g1 ~+ r2 q" b, b( p- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset5 ?+ a! _8 z9 q" p$ b9 @& K
