and Driver Examination Regulation. They are monitored to ensure they provide high quality road5 p1 I! K8 e. `+ h( N
tests. They should be courteous and professional, keeping conversation at all times relevant to the7 @& G3 L, c7 ~ `; U- M& G7 m

What do I bring for my road test?

· Wear clothing that is practical for driving and comfort. It should be appropriate for the

assist in checking the signal and brake lights, horn, brakes, and steering. You will be asked to describe and+ u' _; }1 G0 x* k* E, i @
demonstrate two of the instruments or controls inside the vehicle, such as the hazard lights and windshield. e9 d) \2 j' `+ D
wipers. The Examiner will provide information before you move the vehicle about the route and the instructions( O# @6 P( B) y k" [$ f( h

· You will be given ample instruction in advance for each manoeuvre and activity.

You must not do anything that is considered unlawful, dangerous, or unsafe, (for example, speeding or not5 v9 O5 f- k: G A/ ?) B
stopping at a stop sign).

· The Examiner will not ask you to do anything illegal.% r$ B9 i, M c$ O9 H
· When the road test is finished, the Examiner will highlight the areas you performed well, as well as

* u. t/ m b6 }: r: g- B! F: C5 ?% R% oTest Permit. This will indicate that you have passed. Take this permit, along with your learner’s licence, to any
1 B% j8 L# c! d6 uAlberta Registry Agent to have your licence changed to a Class 5 Probationary Licence. There will be a fee for this/ H- o2 L; Z3 u; N m$ f- Z
