  R* u  w- j. C) }Are you an immigrant woman who:

5 w6 V' ?" z7 B, m, K4 w-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
* m* j! L) J9 \  M/ r0 s# c6 D-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

0 B  k2 B9 T( M" e6 f  JIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

' j0 j3 K& c/ |+ \MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

% B( D' `9 O4 b* L0 [' Q" s# s" MTHE COURSE OFFERS:

6 O; f( f* W# D4 D  A' QCounseling to help you find what is right for you.
( D4 e& Q* ]$ D8 d: S# G9 xOpportunity to develop your English Language skills.
: y& Y! E0 y" QOpportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
Information about community agencies and services.
6 s, ?1 X* [- _* YInformation about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.

Note:         All applicants must attend a pre-registration interview.
