Duties
7 C" i/ M3 Q' F* P  GWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
& R/ z) K; M5 xProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
, u1 M$ `% `7 E# g, ?$ `Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
# k) ]$ J7 C! N9 f& |. E- G; D, ADevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
. y4 B; A+ n9 y: w$ e& zQualifications
% |9 {  z0 G7 O6 U$ j% j4 O; F& \Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
" m2 W# C' a. b" n/ |Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
