4 T3 }& z9 k m& k2 W L9 E2 t* R% MWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
0 O) F6 j9 ?! _, y/ iResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
& V9 a: Y' X9 FResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
% S9 c: i* E! D0 S: PProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
% B- K# U) _0 EWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
8 q: m- h0 Q3 L% L* VEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System, P/ G" s( c7 g4 m3 p' G3 F
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP, ~$ J4 X) S+ }& q- X# L
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications8 _" }0 ]8 ]! ^* `% L8 J6 s
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program5 n8 v4 {4 E7 v8 l6 y+ k# |
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
+ B; q$ \0 Y! N" X' U1 `7 P: GMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations# Q _, n" A3 }+ G' K' [, y
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)! q7 z/ O- C' t- s- X: f
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills; Q$ K$ u$ ?% |% k
