Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
$ B* M& w3 I$ R! w0 EResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
4 L; {# h% ?8 M7 s6 x7 B  MProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
6 r& p, }: ^9 V9 Y. g2 `( Q- DWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
' _4 a/ k$ c2 o- A9 _* B! jEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
" T2 O# A, O! IDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
' J0 x" ?2 P9 D5 }" K( n0 c& Y. XTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
, j* p  J8 C4 P" ARecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
3 _2 s/ t, v4 X' w$ `0 hExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
( r& O( r6 h1 ^2 J  D) tStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
