2 n& h; Z: {) n' x# KGrandin out of School Care and Daycare is registered as a non-profit corporation.  Grandin has both a Daycare and Out of School Care in a shared building facility located at Grandin School.  September 1, 2008 we will become an After School Care Program exclusively.

6 L: P2 ^2 U& b0 Y% CThe Grandin Out of School Care Board of Directors is inviting applications for the temporary position of child care worker to start as soon as possible.  This is a full time summer temporary position with the possibility of progressing into a permanent position.  This position involves working directly with the care, programming, implementation of programming of school age children on site and on field trips off site.

# a* w& I: i* N( I' |' ^, Y  ]: w        Commitment to the ideals expressed in the Grandin Daycare mission statement and a desire to work together with sponsoring bodies:  Catholic School Board, Grandin Administration, Grandin OSC Board of Directors, Staff and Parents.
        Level 1, 2 or 3 childcare certification or equivalent education
4 U, L( b8 Q1 I. n9 p        Experience working with school age children
        Responsible, ethical, good communication skills with parents and staff


RESPONSIBILITIES:

5 i; [! m( ~+ T$ ~5 l5 f8 R& t         Supervision of school age children in a summer Out of school care program in accordance with the city of Edmonton and province of Alberta licensing regulations and standards
