Position: Youth Services Coordinator
Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

o        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
" c5 W% ]' E; I# B$ Y! z8 j( Bo        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
1 T6 ?% L2 i* q4 K; K, }/ P, l4 `; r5 }o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
" {( o% M! q" C& f) D% ho        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
& J& O2 \& T" t: Yo        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
) L" N, W" [5 uo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
+ X4 D5 ?# y& p8 T' }" Do        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
9 I$ n$ G( }2 N) s( B: f. co        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

. t7 N$ X5 m: X9 _/ D3 CQualifications
# |: ?& U- f6 m% ?7 |o        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
+ a/ P2 B* z* n2 ^( Q& M0 @. H9 |. Ro        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
/ l# G6 v- T) L5 S# E  ?' no        Willingness to learn

6 P  e/ W+ t4 t1 M; Z8 ?6 TOther
& S! ^& Q0 k7 U4 W1 E* `o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
