Position: Youth Services Coordinator
' ~1 \$ W4 ~2 g2 C0 |Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities
) f( ^% }5 g5 co        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
' x% |6 s8 D' Z6 h5 E6 J1 v  io        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
6 B  l* k+ y7 Ho        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
o        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
3 V  I4 v# J# {4 T4 h# }" Q; x6 @2 [$ Eo        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor
% u& O/ ^7 j% F5 `( y2 ^* W! K
Qualifications
7 N* |7 t' o" [( b+ d; m$ zo        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
  c: o6 l2 o" L; Y/ P6 ^0 oo        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
0 N0 s% }: ^. l1 go        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
- K# c1 j' L+ \8 k0 T* T4 J" So        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn

o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
