EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.6 {2 a3 A4 t7 `0 Y1 Q9 j
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
& M- Q+ M& Y: UOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.7 w4 c" P* H4 ?9 }5 M
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
