EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.7 g6 @ W+ I0 l" d/ ]8 \ h
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m./ ^* D; j! o) o# d0 s; L3 G
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.! H0 S E7 a0 L8 _
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.4 h( w0 b* f2 l- b% o9 W
