EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.% u0 X s/ \. E! O7 x& [& l
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
0 ~' D+ C; o7 P$ f: eOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed." D5 Y% p+ L' {) S- }
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
