    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
1 s2 L+ B2 u% L7 a6 g0 y$ M    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
/ X5 u5 C3 H- h' l4 Y8 j; S. b    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
, r& r9 z) }8 J2 k3 R( B' P    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
% d4 A% j! g" o    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
! T% I6 A/ D4 n& D    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications
; e6 m+ ?. L+ O2 Q4 J6 v$ E
    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
) N/ J4 a' Y/ a$ u    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
$ a" U$ t- ^8 z- Q    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
! V$ N* O( o8 M    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
