Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2# Q! u# j0 ]8 X
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
# r7 b- E8 \4 l3 a( h• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.8 X# J$ K7 I, @3 L6 y" U8 A( w
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.6 T$ Z8 K( T3 `9 e6 F. l
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
6 _6 ?4 S, v* {* s F) ^: J2 W• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office./ T' M; j9 j6 Z2 Q
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
& I6 ^8 z& K4 |+ H- h T0 C• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.8 J4 ?' N# V6 a& \& l
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
9 I' z1 w, Z; R+ \• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.; Z& u% }, c( o2 c9 k
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.4 p( G6 t' f5 L. \' |% y% b C# w0 Y( P
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
8 Z3 |$ X, ]5 V7 Q! ~; F8 U• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy. Z7 b/ g3 f1 B
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.; |; w9 T$ a& Q E2 K! }
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

) m8 T( _# _, \6 E- J, W4 b0 s# JQualifications:/ ?8 I* E3 J' d* `" R2 N
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. : n* Q% g/ m u
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 8 ?, _% x+ X5 n3 g j! ^
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. , I+ N3 @4 z, J3 w. L
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
3 G. h/ Q1 O7 b, f9 K( B) E" s( Y• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential" ^: a; _, D2 P3 E5 |1 ?
• Not scared of heights
8 O/ N& O+ G; A2 ?! H! v/ q• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other w! J" W9 B( f: E
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
; ]3 v$ H/ K) V9 P• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
