Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant, `2 i- \, W/ m8 D! Y

  N* z' [. f* e1 [2 w1 \$ mMajor Responsibilities:
5 w% t4 b" Q/ o  O•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
* n& @* ^+ @$ E8 x4 N3 i; J" x. u" b•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
% E* Q/ X- }( U- x8 E•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
* T6 A4 D9 W- Y8 k$ ^/ B' D•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
+ v- S, V3 l: T/ F9 C! o9 F•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.# i- o& t4 C, N5 |, X# _" X6 v) D  f
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.. r) [5 b" u- O; \0 I' }
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
0 l; ~# Q. J/ \) m" s$ Y•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) U. J: c0 l( H5 \+ P  K2 M•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.6 ]. D4 z9 E) p: j! Q
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.: W4 |* H$ U. x( ^5 o3 I: s
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
8 [3 e: U- X( t; }! @* b•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ( w# k0 q( g+ X/ d4 ]) W. D
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 8 F, V/ f3 h. n# I/ C2 U6 X! U
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
