Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

7 I( Q* Z6 u3 LMajor Responsibilities:
! G1 {) s; @! H$ c• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
# Y# M8 E, h7 |* @6 O* s• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 }6 `1 S. I) t0 b% W$ W• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ) ]# M& x/ f: V. I$ {4 ]4 f
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.( S/ ^! ~ o4 _/ t H! ~( M
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
! k9 u1 @7 T5 l# O, v6 X- Z$ E1 u+ ~• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
# O8 z4 |7 P6 H• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.2 K. r) B" y' |5 S7 {
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.7 r- R4 ?2 I1 f2 |0 w' X; K6 O* O3 d' z
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
: X- p8 G& @& J q: M6 ?1 F• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.6 L, l/ b3 _$ {& \$ ]# ], O
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
g' U# T( `! J$ [) C4 W" Y- W• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 8 B7 F) m, z0 r& n
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 j- a; V8 B# [ H* q
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. & |$ ~, p9 j# U, r+ w% T0 N3 U# P' L
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
