Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant& a- b$ d: F7 m  X' m3 b' L

6 `* e. N9 i8 z+ f9 O6 U1 HMajor Responsibilities: ! [* V1 s: E" C% z& J
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
9 p) R  F9 v1 |# T•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.( G. F) G: y% E
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
# S5 _+ P5 L4 J5 i•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.: c3 m2 M2 W/ T. I
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
0 {' e# ?0 n6 R•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area./ R4 h9 w% l( @& o3 g: \0 F/ l
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; D! y7 s* T% \* g. ?: E  T•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.4 C0 ~  ]5 f  V( F- M. ?
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.2 d, g9 X' X( V! F0 c# W
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
( P9 U$ ~$ x: B2 D$ n( e3 G•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
: w: Y5 T" l- q' a2 T- X•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.3 L% M/ U( S! r, L+ F8 ~! v' |
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.! Z9 ], g! g" c+ t. j4 E
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.! p' @: r1 L( M, Q+ @1 n" F6 p1 j

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 8 I5 p2 w+ y7 A; z
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
4 e6 Q/ [" e. k' S4 a4 {0 J& w•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
