Major Responsibilities:
: y+ f( M. W$ X5 i, Y3 C•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 ~2 z+ p9 ]8 ~3 g: e
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.& F9 H6 }# P5 \9 N+ l8 A' u
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
" E' [7 o  K! W" Y4 Z•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.! [4 l2 e4 d: L
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
/ y2 \5 p3 x* H8 L( o# s•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" S% B* x$ r: X•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 {1 N) _$ ^4 ~$ V# p
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
0 f: E  n; A2 u) ^  Q•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% q$ `( m: y& ?5 X
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 u7 q# p: n: ~- X•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
  {1 r3 W+ X5 l# W( F4 Y  P# E•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

% j0 s9 j. E$ Z# h0 R2 \4 o•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
1 t! @' x' l, |- `•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ) o; f1 ^. A, d! l6 R7 K
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
