& e. t2 c$ a' D! g3 e& f4 [5 v: mFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
/ I* H8 L) J+ I( E•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
6 k/ G5 d# s. S( r* Z•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
! T" S* o7 W# l•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
2 x4 a  m% d. d& q+ N•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
$ q7 _( Z% @4 z  N•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

( h9 M: U/ L9 r6 c" m! n- \Qualifications
6 ~1 A" r) J3 W- _9 x" D; n8 ?4 T•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
% E) H4 ~, j7 a, U4 `•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
