Position: Youth Services Manager
- [" t: X" ^7 }. C8 u" c8 p6 NFull time position (35 hours each week)

% M4 C& t' t/ ]- K& uJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
; D; y+ B0 _8 U•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
+ r& W2 a- v1 j) F0 |* P•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
8 _' S, Q3 r; f8 t/ K' Z- m•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
( c! y; k6 b; X" O/ \2 g' ^•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
- H/ S5 S& f3 U4 W, E# `( r. Z•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
4 P# Z0 s$ K4 x2 `•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
6 ^; [6 `& P8 x( {3 z" m•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

  i8 Z* l' A7 B8 y3 ]' Z0 YQualifications
1 X; j, C8 \! z  [7 c•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
4 n( O  f: O& U% c' G; `/ Y" m/ z•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
3 |2 `, E5 Y1 {& }% \, F: q  ~•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
6 c9 W3 D- @2 m* u: a8 q: s( b•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
