Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

: P# @2 }$ }& m6 t9 l9 e+ fJob Description – Responsibilities
2 g- x; p, a6 |' j3 ]; U•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
3 N2 h9 O/ F; R6 K3 t0 Z•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
$ G0 E$ M% [7 z, ?# r( `( v  U+ m•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
: ~& v% e* L. b% h•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
! S- L1 I- Q" }7 x•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
6 R* l2 c( a; s1 X•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
5 s# P5 a6 j6 ^9 ], U9 @- o•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

- {% n$ M: Q$ T. o' a% p9 }Qualifications
+ B! U  ]& t$ d8 U+ G•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
