Position: Youth Services Manager
  z: i* u( s4 f# H- EFull time position (35 hours each week)

9 f( g- f. @8 {1 A0 e, eJob Description – Responsibilities
6 \6 v+ V' X9 H, `8 _- T; e" Z. h•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
: \3 {- [- Q  [' {5 _, Z•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
# {, K, c8 u3 A0 b5 u/ N2 Z•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
0 C, u2 q) N5 ]- F# }0 A, ]. }, g•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
5 x% A0 I+ H, [8 U! o. `' E2 [•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
. L( }, i+ m$ Z5 ?: b' D5 j  \•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
+ |3 k! z' k# n, \! R# o•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
! g$ _- D7 C0 S* b0 G0 h7 O+ f•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
" g" G. [" g# e9 G& f, Z•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
5 M0 {: ^# [! j7 F•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
. P; D. Z. Q7 l2 c& E1 l$ l•        willingness to learn
