Job Description – Responsibilities
4 [7 f# A0 y' g9 c) U2 B1 X4 v% z, [; p•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
; v+ S/ E5 J% w0 _1 v9 k•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
4 l* ~( U" E& u0 U  U4 H% y•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
2 J- H0 B8 v1 x6 e•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
7 j* K1 {& @4 X  n2 C8 s/ n8 B2 R0 U+ e•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
9 [+ c0 G7 T' J# ]/ j, q- r•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
1 v7 a4 l# P7 K6 h•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
4 v2 [$ u: E& D, }•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
