The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

, J% g! X: j4 c& n% y* |3 k& r We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
: U" `* @5 n2 _& ]1 U3 F•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
9 V- {) F- |! H  f•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
/ E4 [4 [' c4 i# n; I" a7 K. o6 J•        Able to travel extensively ;
3 r( w# t3 Z% N& M% `; x7 K  F' A•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
" C. u# Q/ l; C•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
" R2 @$ @& G4 T3 O" x5 ~0 O•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
3 V8 y+ b( ?+ Z6 A+ w$ N& m•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
