The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

' J* ~4 A8 e6 a* b0 ~6 G4 v5 P) bDuties:
9 w: Q! L+ P$ h2 r% s•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
1 G3 K: \1 o: c7 Y•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

, K! X' B4 b2 e) Q( f& v6 QRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
! k& I! K: q* k" r1 U# F3 [% s•        Degree in the area of human services;
/ z* _/ w" ?% e& r! \* C( k•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
7 E* C' s5 E7 ]& {7 _. d( t•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
