Is there anyone has the experience about ETIP(Engineers' and Technologists' Integration Program )  interview? I try to get into this program and want to know what kind of questions/format of the interivew.

1: remember some important number or formular in your field. for instance if you are a civil engineer you should know what kind of concrete you usually use, what kind of equipment for mix the concrete etc....Remember, always give some No. or formular or the name of instruments.

我收到ETIP面试通知了，先是电话通知，隔一天又收到邮件通知。

我面试完了，感觉希望不大。3个人，EMCN、ASET和NAIT各1人。
EMCN的几个问题：
$ t, U  f( E. J) n1、你现在的工作和学习情况，工作面试过没有？
3 I% h! t" K% M  k% V2、如果你现在有一个专业工作了，是选择专业工作还是读ETIP？
3、如果你读ETIP，没有成功申请补助，是贷款还是自己付学费？
ASET和NAIT的问题：
. r& v* P4 s4 p0 v  _1、AutoCAD方面的，比如CAD里面有多少个Layer（图层）？
; b6 H# c0 `. J6 |2 c2、给我看一个事先准备好的用笔随手画的建筑结构草图，要我描述。
我就在这个问题上出问题了。画的是桁架和悬臂梁的组合，桁架、悬臂梁这2个英语词汇都不会。下面还有一个工字钢和槽钢的断面图，因我事先说没做过钢结构设计，所以给我出了上面那道题。这个题的回答当时NAIT的人就不满意。。。

我电话预约Electrical/Electronics,20日下午5：30面试。大学的课程是与弱电设计相关，但是我多年工作的相关领域是NETWORK AND CABLING SYSTEM DESIGN/MAINTAIN 和 SYSTEM SECURITY ，这和大学的课程完全不一样啊，再说十几年前哪有网络的课程，我还真的不知道怎么整这个事情。

是电气的，他们只说PROGRAM延期了，不知道是指哪个。

各位，SORRY,今天下午我是去参加说明会,不是面试.EMCN网站上说的Civil, Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Engineers，实际上应该是Civil, Mechanical and Electrical。因为国内的概念Electronics应该是指 弱电方向，我在国内大学的专业名称就是Electronics ，我对这个概念是太清楚了。虽然我的课程也有一部分是Electrical，但是所占比例太小。说明会上的信息显示，Electrical Courses 有5门：Electrical Design;Power Systems;Electric Machines;Power Electronics;Programmable Logic Controllers。我的大学课程含有后3门，但没有前两门，如果有哪个兄弟的专业是“电力”，那么一定会学过前两门。我想这是Electrical和Electronics的区别。而且我已经很久没有做弱电设计，我早就从事网络维护和系统管理很多年了，所以我计划放弃ETIP了。

刚给CHISSA发邮件她马上就回电了,说ELECTRONIC也可以报.但是我问她是什么课程她说不知道.CHISSA很好说话口音也很正，但是给我的印象是她好象只知道根据专业名称做判断。加拿大这边ELECTRONIC的概念到底是什么？我真不太明白了，NETWORK 又应该归入哪类呢？欢迎各位兄弟探讨。

Hi, We had info session in ealier November. At that time, they told us the electronic/electrical program offered next year, will focus on on electronic side instead of electrical side. So the couse names you got from previous year would not be the courses they offer next year.

$ k0 \0 A0 _1 p5 ]2 E2 r3 D. TFor networking, I think it should belong to computer not electronic or electrical.

Don't worrry about it too much. CLBA is an easy test.
