Restricted Dogs

The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:
! P( X' D# _& C; d- [( t1 i$ u& Z5 @
& o& S- u! J0 u" e) WThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw . h- e4 u/ X/ L2 p
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw
" U* c6 U5 j8 T2 @1 ^! a& W+ ?That has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act , {5 ]9 w8 U% a/ k& y
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
) M9 ?, n( R$ K' S% dCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club 2 R7 d3 r% O& I( @' b. @, }$ x; y" A
Note: The restricted dog definition does NOT include any dog that is registered, or eligible for registration, with the Canadian Kennel Club as a purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier. |
