The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:

' B2 R8 J0 i. M8 d! vThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw 7 ^ S/ Z' \/ v# t) ?- w) J
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw
9 t8 w% D' S, o' n: ?That has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act
* `5 Y- ]3 O; t5 E* S/ B7 I+ n! A; ]0 HCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
5 {5 V- C6 k a& t' tCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
