A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• Standard Child Care First Aid

• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care$ S' O9 r% ]) D' q: {
• Components to improve communication skills
- Q. u) M! O4 A' h& W" y• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

Eligibility Criteria2 K2 ?5 O0 _2 Q/ x9 v0 x! M- [ a) m
• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen/ |3 s# W3 N4 d" F6 e
of Canada$ N! _9 m) ^1 v) l3 g
• have a Social Insurance Number& M- v+ B5 I+ ]" t; y4 z
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
0 T- L" r8 R2 g3 g4 ^• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent) h& n- ^$ u- |2 _6 ~! A3 i. P
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time* J/ j' C H; r! r8 v7 @/ n
program

5 o1 O$ z9 J" B# Z6 s2 Ithe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
