Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
7 Q3 T* k* X$ j- Organize focus group(s)
. b, u. D& \+ t3 P* Z0 Q8 j( J- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
* z" W) k) S) B. z- Recruit children for summer program
5 o( Y$ j9 b" p4 b- Provide orientation for parents
5 l% d2 F, t0 f. D2 [- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
1 r- z0 O; z: F) D- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
$ B3 Q+ l$ A' _$ m" {8 Y; _- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
; k5 h6 }/ N  I  ?( c" r- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
