Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
, X, n- j: V: a& e0 G$ y- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
; R9 [, n: q0 t- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
$ y0 ~$ ?" H, c; d: N" H- H6 Y- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
1 b- U; r" ~% o  r- q/ X& t
3 W1 T; V% u3 S1 t" f- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
" |8 {6 c2 _/ ~2 W9 s3 E* P6 {- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
