Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
9 M* c* X8 a7 ]$ }- Provide orientation for parents
0 a1 s8 e" M. m( Z( q7 x- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
. R" v8 L& H" v4 V4 G* M$ q+ t- Prepare final report for funding agency
* M  |" v# n4 E3 z; ]

: |0 F8 o$ ^  y* {: ~, r) F
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ m! p7 a) q# E3 @8 o9 ^- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
! t+ ~3 Y# f# @- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
) n6 k/ o6 b/ d9 S* J% M- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
: q! G6 C& v# {2 P. {- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
