    The layers
4 F- U+ X9 `/ H: s+ V% U
- ?# E1 @! B8 l+ m( }2 C( a  x: KI have walked through many websites,
: A! @, S: S$ B, j' Csome of them I like,
8 }/ f4 c" [# Y3 {- ~0 Z) Vand some of them I do not like.
' [& m& H+ U" X' p$ nOh, Lao Yang have made a tribe
out of his true affections.
I go, I go
exulting somewhat,
  a) Q/ \7 g0 e5 Q' Hwith my will intact to go
; f: F* Y) U: k6 g0 L  K* ]3 P5 owherever I need to go,
" q$ D3 k, M9 z, i) N) v- j" }& }and every post on the Edmontonchina Community
' a+ Z. [7 z5 U0 jPrecious to me.
$ m) u# u5 C7 F! R; sIn my darkest night,
' s: s6 b7 G, C: w% `when the moon was covered
and I roamed through websites,
: U! z( C7 Z7 R; L/ i0 G. w8 J4 Da nimbus-clouded Lao Yang’ voice
directed me:
5 Y3 w& e0 r& I: l% Z6 X, \Live in the layers
not on the litter.
8 T7 A% C  Q8 {) J$ tThough I lack the art
to decipher it,
no doubt the next chaper
+ ~: X, `; s# H/ Zin my book of transformations
is already written.
* P4 L: r) l! q7 b* Z# dI love to live with Edmontonchina Community.

$ N8 M) d# ?" H: I# T" W9 R0 C4 sI have walked through many lives,
! m2 z" `$ `0 E, Wsome of them my own,
0 x! N% O& x5 M, g: o3 f8 }; w- ]and I am not who I was,
7 e7 Y6 Q( v4 {' Gthough some principle of being
abides, from which I struggle
, q1 V+ {4 l# h2 }not to stray.
When I look behind,
' z. C* p1 }5 i. e/ S& G' Gas I am compelled to look
& }# X& U4 ~6 cbefore I can gather strength
to proceed on my journey,
I see the milestones dwindling
toward the horizon
and the slow fires trailing
from the abandoned camp-sites,
over which scavenger angels
  [  ^0 l, |3 T, E% `4 Fwheel on heavy wings.
. S# E7 Q. Y0 H; Q" o1 X8 xOh, I have made myself a tribe
( s. P$ J+ T3 D* G0 fout of my true affections,
and my tribe is scattered!
% T* u7 x7 e) C# C0 ?How shall the heart be reconciled
to its feast of losses?
8 Q& t  ~0 F' k+ }3 P) `In a rising wind
the manic dust of my friends,
those who fell along the way,
" p; x  Q8 |6 y9 Ubitterly stings my face.
Yet I turn, I turn,
' Z0 _; i4 J( Y  Dexulting somewhat,
with my will intact to go
" j. a) B& I5 dwhereever I need to go,
and every stone on the road
' A  R# H" _) S2 |precious to me.
In my darkest night,
7 l2 Z5 q1 z# b0 i7 u4 rwhen the moon was covered
% ~! E. W8 Q' k$ C/ D; cand I roamed through wreckage,
! N8 b' Z$ V+ ?# E+ J8 wa nimbus-clouded voice
directed me:
+ l( K; I* p' I3 @7 o$ F; q"Live in the layers,
not on the litter."

in my book of transformations
