-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
        preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
) C- _1 l1 u' b1 P-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
+ {' z7 Q0 Z9 p/ x-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
8 h2 F$ @1 t2 o+ C-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
( t" A# y# D3 Q/ k2 V# e* ^        Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

1 h9 m- g3 W8 u* tQualifications:
9 R& ]/ q& {8 j( S-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
' f( U" u! r9 p. f* G3 ~        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
0 [. ^  R7 p  A$ w-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
/ h0 e% B' b3 \, a% p-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
, P% ~' Y+ s- `# D6 P' \        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
7 A% F8 F, Y1 B3 e2 }& H- o' A-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

-        $14.00 per hour
