Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
$ z7 H) Z$ L# S0 F access to mainstream services8 L# y) v0 G) H& Q7 f
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

7 `0 C% D) N4 ^7 }' M W- E- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies& H- G; I* e+ G1 j# G1 m) e
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members1 A Z% ^$ h, V+ Z$ B# H
- update ASSIST website% r- J- f% |% V) ~
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
# i( H# y }1 O- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services5 I% q! I2 u( M( A0 v( p
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
+ \# H3 E! F& O, l- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of : G3 n% F# V) R
experience and education # r2 }; |" Y/ C# S
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills# l/ L+ Q/ o O- |* n- r' s
- experience in community work and immigrant services
3 t2 R4 @/ K/ \" ^) f- experience in website update/design; B& I) L! L+ P) V! [* v9 u) y- B
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
