Responsibilities:
6 d% I( R/ e# g$ G. m- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
. l) ]" i" [' N0 L8 M- Recruit children for summer program
# I- J5 r# p  k7 u; c- Provide orientation for parents
+ \9 K, f, W; d. O- Find sponsors to enhance program
8 D3 t) I+ S- v$ w' }9 ?- Supervise volunteer(s)
: m- j8 o0 _) R1 p) I- Prepare final report for funding agency

6 x6 A% E, _6 c) K& x& LQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
! P% ~) U5 M9 ^1 l  O; t2 `' Z- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
4 z9 U; [$ w& i, S- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
2 |8 g7 n5 h; d0 y- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

8 h/ g9 p0 P3 I& A9 o# c+ M  e( z' m- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
