Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
" G& \+ Y% k7 i/ z- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
$ L8 K0 a) f. T! C: L$ x- Recruit children for summer program
* e  b. I/ I1 }1 @, {- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

4 M% K6 t8 {- W
9 p4 M3 x( M9 }$ e) a# u- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
% O5 j- m8 R7 N7 Q# x: c- communication skills
( A9 T, G. V/ r6 x6 J0 }- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
+ {+ [0 W+ u$ P/ i4 B- good computer skills
( f- f' e* U; [6 L, m- leadership abilities
6 v2 ^- `5 `' [- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
