Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
* o$ M, r, k0 G- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
- B. {1 e8 O8 s" G
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
2 P5 `1 M- D2 X! J) |- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
  [- E3 B) a- @: H- communication skills
0 N# b: U+ |6 z2 n( T* J: y' n) q- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
7 e$ f2 m5 b6 u; s% E4 p: n, C- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
# E( t9 S" ^3 I! J- good computer skills
5 R* Q. }7 g+ m5 f- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
