Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
) j% C) z7 p" g7 ]Responsibilities:
# p1 E* d9 N: M) W0 v: N- g! @- Organize focus group(s)
3 F7 Y* j+ `9 m  d$ A- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
( F0 L8 W, r) A6 t- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
  t2 m; ~' J9 }% e' r& t2 p- Supervise volunteer(s)
+ O( C% L/ O1 |- b- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
* G4 K, e  A1 ?. G, `/ Y. D- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
) L" q) b" V9 \6 `! j5 Q& b- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
