Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
/ `4 i& G. V1 t& |4 r To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
  o& W: j. s! } To help promote the program in the community.
1 p% t" J* C# K8 {: J0 R5 s To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
. q( h$ Q+ J. E4 E To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
+ h2 ?8 w3 p+ g( p' d  ` To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
3 l* T, [4 V4 d2 U( Y  p To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
! |9 ?# o, o/ J) a/ a5 ? 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
7 [/ A2 Q1 P, O+ S2 X; |7 { Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
! X3 P% P+ f/ i& |( ^3 M Current CPR and First Aid certifications
7 q! y9 z0 o) E4 w Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
