Housing Program Worker

% B6 e9 V* V! U$ Y6 MKey Responsibilities:
) h) |( i7 S; T9 } To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
. G0 ~. h$ c2 S# g9 i- d) n" ] To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
1 r2 N4 @6 V# ]( i To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
& O4 I& ?+ O( b) ?6 I To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
* i" k, X! C2 g/ f" l To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

' G4 I7 L* W1 J' QQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
. x1 f$ S& q+ ~! ] Current CPR and First Aid certifications
& r* Q2 i, R5 [$ d! Z: b& n Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
