The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.5 z; J0 Q6 |& w' I& }! Q
% N5 F. G3 w9 d% W# DThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management
2 p x. @9 c0 g• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
# X% C4 u( a/ p5 r2 r G• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
' L( T$ p% d. g2 j• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
* V" A. h" c: W8 s: e• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services/ o* D/ v8 b7 @& ~6 Y5 ]; G9 I% Z* d
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery [4 Y* c' _+ C& |8 c
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program * i( K% E& V- W) D9 f& C" v
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes7 J; r, q! B) D
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
3 W! B. v5 Y6 [ @• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication

• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department! H% s# @ O7 ]1 T' u
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program# \& M5 Q" W3 t" r% Z+ `: [
• Implement service modification, as required5 j$ x, |8 N7 i& d3 d4 k4 @

' e* e5 M2 a4 M• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director9 b0 W6 a' E6 F v% q5 l: ?
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

Qualifications:, F) X+ P ]8 e/ s
- Y: q8 {. l' @3 Q1 W( F4 Y• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
! F, Q& i* Q! y1 \7 ?• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities3 V' z- Z1 Q( b2 f7 X) a
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience5 ~# r2 W0 u1 X2 U5 y7 X; |8 r
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
