The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.0 z+ z6 \" o0 w) i, I' D

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.6 @7 A! s9 X  k7 j$ a' [2 L$ @

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* e' t% y( r0 p•        Human Resources Management
. k; m4 L3 V; V8 N' a•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities # X4 P$ X/ k' j, h
•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
5 N7 S- p  t! B& f# M5 q  F! G•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
& [5 E; F# H, o" z' u7 S•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services
+ j' e4 e2 h% C  j# e•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities
% [' R7 E% x7 `7 e8 v, O2 C- L* X& I( W+ H2 J
Program Delivery2 w1 @3 G; a, b7 A, j; A
•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program , D$ r* o* p- R5 I+ M
•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
# l' ~, c1 U% i3 S4 ?% M•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
; [3 E, ^: R' ~7 N8 r•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
9 p. G3 p1 _6 [9 s* W2 E•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested
( U: V. R( m( H4 x•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department$ ?" Y; O0 V. q8 c
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program& y/ f1 ^! K( B# Q
•        Implement service modification, as required1 R: _) w0 E2 t

•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
3 R- Q& b6 m" V- N3 y•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

Qualifications:3 `- ^0 F8 B% p7 e+ r
, X# V! p& ^* ?
•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field  {) {& P7 ?3 Y$ @0 @; E
•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
3 g  K- i0 ?8 u: J+ i9 ?" t•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
! e3 q7 ?5 S/ P) G•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations0 n8 E5 l' H  e" x# D
•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
! p2 D4 S* R% a5 R! v% T•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office+ W' ^; }  k1 b8 G/ Z& g
•        Equivalences will be considered) u* u8 `/ g0 n  ?3 \6 U' l) M
