The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.9 J/ J5 S, s1 z9 |: B5 z* U' v

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.) w$ J- P" s+ g' V! P) n

* V8 z* `: m& ~: I( T: O7 gJob Duties/Responsibilities:, J, ~4 D, Y8 k& r" j' R' o2 u4 i
•        Human Resources Management
$ v$ \1 V+ P- O* f& @•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities . m" l* t, _' j- @" a7 u7 T
•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
3 u2 V+ R) O; F& |3 ~•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
7 S, v9 L% z, v1 y•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services6 W! r% O: E' D# M2 p: T
•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

5 X. }: e; ^3 m. b: s" z/ F8 ^Program Delivery
7 s/ K" O# c" Z•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 9 ?( J9 I: p& a# D. H" f9 w$ y$ Y
•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes: A) a+ D# a, l
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
9 M) q5 T1 [" x" y9 {•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication& V- v  ~$ \. y" v- c
•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested( |# K3 i0 G/ h6 E! F
•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department5 h8 L" C, h( J: \9 t6 S
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program
) [$ S% j8 p5 A6 d•        Implement service modification, as required

Administration# ^0 w0 _) m+ o# V( w' u' U
•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
6 ?6 u* g$ w6 T- I& u•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
' a  [( {3 [' m1 ^) J•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

: X; i5 O8 d1 T- y9 `; {8 b+ [& }' [. ~+ x* W- P! ]" Q' R
•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field5 X7 w0 b  f5 X1 Q7 l6 g9 f) _
•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities! l$ B, r0 K9 g( z
•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience9 V( D2 ]. j; p0 m8 c3 }( z
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations: a$ I7 U% o( J
•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population+ C6 P7 D. I% V! B
•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
