The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

% N5 F. G3 w9 d% W# DThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

2 N8 ]3 v( F9 sJob Duties/Responsibilities:
•        Human Resources Management
2 p  x. @9 c0 g•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
# X% C4 u( a/ p5 r2 r  G•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
' L( T$ p% d. g2 j•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
* V" A. h" c: W8 s: e•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services
•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery
•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
3 W! B. v5 Y6 [  @•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
9 y/ Y. q" w# m5 D0 k9 k4 f•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested
•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program
•        Implement service modification, as required

' e* e5 M2 a4 M•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
1 o, e- Y4 i, ~  d- Y8 z$ G  z•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:

- Y: q8 {. l' @3 Q1 W( F4 Y•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
! F, Q& i* Q! y1 \7 ?•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
1 q  d" j" h! G3 p+ V. [•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
; K  h8 G/ G( _: x' _' l) f•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
•        Equivalences will be considered
