Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
2 {( m! o5 f) Y( T$ I To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
. `. a( P0 b9 ]! V8 ]1 }$ X  ] To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
5 o, b2 x# k" ~9 z, K  ^0 r8 m To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
5 Q8 S& @+ u( q+ l1 m0 n/ {; V To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
2 b3 e" ]: `- H: Z7 }3 Y To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
# E2 d' k& T5 ?+ ^ To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
3 Q# i& Y6 x9 E 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
6 {2 K6 d" S+ H Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
5 K+ k( N9 j8 e5 t& w- n Current CPR and First Aid certifications
: H6 n! M' Q$ d- k7 F Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
