Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
) m5 ]' `  G$ F. t$ z To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
8 {* L2 x( ]* x9 E( m0 [ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
1 t6 o& z" {  } To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
$ Z( A% V+ e  h" y To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

7 L8 K" U7 G* m/ c( L: U; E5 f2 qQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
5 T7 D- \6 ?/ }3 w. \ 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
8 U/ ~6 _1 R1 o Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
