Position Overview This Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer – Intermediate to Senior to join our Calgary team.
_# x! B+ g- V6 \6 d) wResponsibilities In this position, you will:
: s* `8 u. ~: A$ l/ a6 T• Plan and design major road and highway projects; ) m6 n4 w7 m9 D& V( {* }3 r6 a
• Ensure that you provide exceptional service to clients with roadway functional, preliminary and detailed design services as part of a team;% _0 b. ]0 _+ i' N9 Q5 ? Q
• Prepare roadway designs including: plans; reports; cost estimates; and specifications. ' }( l' F7 e$ ^2 |
• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects;
& V" `. \! b, O% r• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. |
