(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)

Key Responsibilities Include. C* z8 ~5 g+ Z6 e( P
Activity Planning and Daily Activity$ H7 F9 W, p! n* B: f* q: x
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.8 Z- M' d9 R& a6 r0 x# ]
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
# J5 q* m6 `3 S+ Z |• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, + S8 ]. ]& ~8 E% y+ Z
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.; ?1 x8 [/ A% H/ X% ^3 P" ]
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.

0 W' C& ]6 X9 E& X" ^4 G8 B0 o• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting, ?; a2 X3 A+ K* H
• Experience with children
$ y! R5 }; i! I( I0 j# N4 e• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth " M# r1 m0 ?- o& I0 `7 c
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
, g' r& Q& A6 ~% \) I! `4 Q• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.7 N0 A, ] g5 Z0 Z; B( u/ c
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources+ W- d; b: f! b5 N3 W5 H5 a
• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check / [5 P9 p; s# k* ~
• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check ' u* Q) u' m' t4 |& Z8 I
