  f5 \0 A) J0 }% k( g8 YBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  Together with the Africa Centre, we are looking for 2 temporary full time summer student staff.

/ b) R) k6 B: q) {* V5 i2 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Students
  C) l0 j, C7 ?' t" ]' P9 ?3 q(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)

8 f* }6 r( c( R6 d! ~9 |) FKey Responsibilities Include
8 F* t, I& l4 i0 N" _; WActivity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
1 n5 p1 s& x, y4 t  y•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
3 }- j9 n0 [4 V0 h% x) r4 N* q•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
  s: w' v/ w2 ?" g7 T•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
) ]9 H, `. a+ z•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
" R- b7 F2 F$ G* _# l2 f•        A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
